The year is 1944 and the General Strike is at its peak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For several days, large parts of Copenhagen’s workers have refused to show up for work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the urging of the Danish Resistance and the Freedom Council, the uprising has quickly spread across the country and has so far claimed the lives of up to 100 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the deaths are related to the strike itself and the many demonstrations. But under the cover of the unrest, there are both stabbings and, in retaliation, several so-called clearing murders on the open street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
